About Michele

Michele’s passion is for gathering people together - around a table, for dinner and compelling conversations, under a mango tree in East Africa, or on the rooftop of a guest house on the noisiest street corner in all of Haiti. She's laser focused on taking people into places where they can dive more deeply into their relationship and understanding of God, their own community and themselves.

Michele has worked in Young life for 25+ years and currently serves at the National Director of Young Life Amicus, overseeing their Student Exchange Program which Connects Cultures, Builds Leaders and Changes Lives. Amicus changes the world one family and one student at a time!

She's also worked in the local church, starting ministries for Mothers and kids, and currently serves on the Grace Church of Marin Mission Board. She's a founding board member of several community and international non-profits.

She's penned many articles on parenting, featured in parenting newspapers and magazines both globally and in the United States. She’s the author of To My Friend - Reflections on Motherhood and Thirty-One Gifts.

Michele's been speaking to small and large groups for over two decades.  She can give a relevant gospel  message to high school kids, a Sunday sermon from the pulpit, lead an interactive discussion with Moms of young kids, or facilitate leadership workshops all around the world.

Michele has been married to Tony for 30 years and has been Momma to Riley for 27 years  and Casey 25 years.  They continually bring her an endless supply of pride, joy, delight, and a healthy dose of humility! She’s never lacked fodder for speaking or writing topics due to the cast of characters she calls family!

We need women who can be so strong they are gentle, so educated they can be humble, so fierce they can be compassionate, so passionate they can be rational and so disciplined they can be free.
